Be informed of email communications and risks 

Medical & Aviation Centre Wolli Creek  offers patients/guardians/ clients the opportunity to communicate by email. This sheet provides information about the risks of email, conditions for use of email communication and how email communication will be used.

Risks

Communication by email has several risks which include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Medical & Aviation Centre Wolli Creek cannot guarantee that any email will be read or responded to.

2. Email can be circulated, forwarded, and stored in paper and electronic files.

3. Backup copies of email may exist even after the sender or the recipient has deleted his/her copy.

4. Email senders can easily misaddress an email or email can be received by unintended recipients. 5. Email can be intercepted, altered, forwarded, or used without authorisation or detection.

6. Employers and on-line services have a right to archive and inspect emails transmitted through their systems.

Please be aware that Medical and Aviation Centre Wolli Creek is not able to offer any services via email. Please contact reception on 02 96674355 to organise a time for face to face or telehealth appointment or book online on HotDocs . www.hotdoc.com.au with one of our health care providers. If there is a medical emergency please attend your nearest hospital or call for an ambulance (ph: 000)  to attend.
